ONEP creates model trainers to drive the environment through EPI Thailand.

ONEP collaborates to cultivate model trainers and expand the network to the local level (Train the Trainer), aiming to enhance the Environmental Performance Index scores within the context of Thailand (EPI Thailand).

On Monday, February 9, 2026, Ms. Supara Leaungpattarawong, the natural resources and environmental policy and planning expert, welcomed the participants of the EPI Thailand Train the Trainer program, Cohort 1. The training aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding, as well as to build a network to collectively improve EPI Thailand scores, emphasizing the role of the education sector in contributing to and promoting research that addresses environmental issues. This initiative fosters collaboration in advancing EPI Thailand at all levels, ensuring that environmental problem-solving in each region is precise, targeted, and genuinely effective, using EPI Thailand as an evidence-based tool through 'shared data' and by 'turning data into power to make the world sustainable – Let’s Go Green with Data.' The event was attended by over 50 participants from the educational sector and local agencies.
